About Inner Circle Grading
At Inner Circle Grading, care, transparency and professional handling of your TCG cards come first.
Before shipping, every card is thoroughly inspected under a digital microscope with up to 200× magnification. Where needed, we clean the card with carefully selected and tested materials and correct slight distortions. Our aim is to prepare every card as carefully as possible before it is submitted to Beckett or PSA.
From the moment we receive your cards until the final return shipment, we keep the entire process in our own hands. You can hand in your cards in person at one of our affiliated partner shops or send them to us securely. We then take care of the preparation, packaging, shipping to the grading company of your choice and the safe return shipment to your address.
That way you know your cards are handled with attention, care and professionalism throughout the entire journey.

Who your card ends up with
Beckett Grading Services (BGS)
Beckett Grading Services is the grading arm of the American company Beckett Media, an established name in the trading card world for decades. Beckett got into professional card grading early on and is regarded as an authority within the hobby.
What sets BGS apart are the subgrades. Every card receives four separate scores on a scale of 1 to 10 — centering, corners, edges and surface — alongside one final grade. So you can see exactly why a card received a 9 and not a 10, which makes the assessment verifiable for you and for a future buyer.
The most coveted outcome is the Black Label: a card that scores a perfect 10 on all four subgrades. That combination is rare and generally carries the highest prestige in the hobby.
Choose BGS if you have a card that you suspect is almost perfect, or if you want to be able to show how your card scores on each individual point.
PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator)
PSA is the largest and most widely recognised grading company in the world. It grades sports cards, TCG cards and other collectibles, and maintains a public pop report in which you can look up how many copies of a card exist in which grade.
PSA uses a single final grade on a scale of 1 to 10, without subgrades. Where needed, a qualifier is added, for example for a card that is miscut or has a minor production flaw. The verdict is therefore short and unambiguous: everyone knows right away what a PSA 9 or a PSA 10 means.
It is precisely that recognisability that is the deciding reason for most collectors. PSA slabs are traded on virtually every international marketplace and auction, and for Pokémon in particular, PSA is the standard buyers look for.
Choose PSA if you may want to sell your card someday, or if you simply want the most common and most easily tradable slab.
BGS or PSA — which do you choose?
Neither is better or worse, they simply serve a different purpose. BGS gives you detail and prestige: four subgrades that explain your card down to the corner, with the Black Label as the absolute pinnacle. PSA gives you reach: a single grade that is recognised worldwide and makes your card the easiest to trade, especially within Pokémon.
